Katie Conway got her start in public relations at The Ritz-Carlton, Lake Las Vegas in 2003 after a decade of working in restaurant kitchens in Santa Barbara, New York City, and Las Vegas.
Combining her understanding of the kitchen with strategic public relations tactics, Conway was quickly dubbed the “the chef whisperer” within The Ritz-Carlton Hotel Company. She then went on to serve as spokesperson and Marketing Manager at Trump International Hotel Las Vegas and later joined Wynn Las Vegas & Encore as F&B Public Relations Manager in 2008 where she oversaw all media outreach and marketing efforts for all 31 restaurants, bars, and nightlife venues within the Forbes Five Star, AAA Five Diamond resort.
Her Personal Life
A move to Southern California in 2011 transitioned Conway to the agency side where she served as Managing Director at top hospitality and luxury lifestyle Public Relations and Marketing firms in Los Angeles and San Diego. Accounts including high-profile hotels, restaurants, celebrity chef talent management, food, and wine events, product launches, and more were all under her direction. Now back in Sin City with over a dozen years of hospitality PR experience, Conway enjoys discovering new restaurants on and off the strip and trying to keep up with her 4-year-old son, Miles.
