New, family-friendly circus debuts for Halloween dates at Cornerstone Park in Henderson
LAS VEGAS – Sept. 18, 2019 – Get ready for the Halloween season with a brand new spooktacular, family-friendly treat…Mr. Bizarro’s Big Top Boo Bash! Join a cast of crazy characters underneath a real big top for a frighteningly delightful evening of ridiculous comedy, ghoulish acrobats, fiendish feats of strength and death-defying aerial acts for a wonderfully warped night of mayhem the whole family will enjoy! This one-of-a-kind, Halloween big top of fun puts its stakes down in Henderson at Cornerstone Park (1600 Wigwam Pkwy.) for two weekends of pandemonium Oct. 18 – 20 and Oct. 25 – 27. A raucous mash-up of the Rocky Horror Picture Show and Cirque underneath a real circus tent, guests will stumble into the wacky world of Mr. Bizarro, complete with a wackier cast of misfits who can delight with stunning talent. Circus-goers will see a chair balancing act, VIVA Fest championship performance of aerial straps, comedy juggling, trampoline/high bar, aerial hoop and rope, e-boogie and German wheel to name a few. In addition, the non-profit Las Vegas dance troupe, Culture Shock, will perform during the show. Through the 90 minute performance, Mr. Bizarro’s bash will teach the younger members of audience that despite looking or acting a certain way, every person has gifts that make them special. All guests encouraged to get some extra mileage out of those Halloween costumes and wear to the big top – you never know what will happen or what you might get.
Mr. Bizarro’s Big Top Boo Bash opens the tent for six days only this Halloween season with shows Oct. 18, 19, 20, 25, 26, and 27. Friday and Saturday performances are at 5:30 and 8 p.m. with one show on Sunday at 6 p.m. Tickets are $20 per adult, $25 for preferred seating. Kids under 12, seniors and military are $15 per person and family four packs are available for $60 and include four general admission tickets with soda and popcorn. A full concession area is available for snacks and libations, including Halloween-themed cocktails for guests 21 and over with valid ID.
Mr. Bizarro’s Big Top Boo Bash is the brainchild of Mike Rice, producer of VIVA Fest (Vegas International Variety Act Festival) and owner/operation of Inversion Entertainment Group and Gymcats (with wife Cassie). Rice enlisted the crazily-creative husband and wife duo of Heidi Brucker Morgan and Matthew Morgan to help write the show, and Mr. Bizarro’s Big Top Boo Bash is directed by Matthew Morgan.
